2. Young Adults please meet downstairs for a meal following the service.

services. You'll be visiting take-out restaurants in the neighborhood and

bringing your food back to the church for a potluck. Please bring $10.

4. Adult Sunday School Update: Following an engaged SS series on Faith and Politics, we will be invited, on Sunday, November 3 and 10, into the lived experience of a number of Home Street’ers as they share about their journey of faith. Stay tuned for details. As of November 17, formal Adult SS classes will take a break to allow for participation in Home Street’s Advent Choir!

5. Home Street has made a commitment to be a safe environment for those who are vulnerable. This commitment includes an annual refresher on our Safe Church policy for all volunteers who spend time with children. Sunday School leaders and youth sponsors are asked to join us on Thursday, November 14th for a session led by Lois Edmonds. Supper will be served at 6pm and we'll be done by 8:30. Please let Rob Foth (Safe Church Coordinator) or Pastor Phil know if you can make it.

6. Ways to give: We welcome your financial donations toward the work of the church during our Sunday offerings. We accept donations in the following forms:

Mennonite Church Manitoba

Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church is excited about stretching ourselves to follow Jesus more clearly. We are learning to respect each other through differences, to love and welcome all people as Jesus did and to care for the earth in its beauty and diversity. We value and participate in the work of MCC, the broader church community and organizations which are witnesses of God’s Kingdom. We appreciate and put energy toward congregational singing, active adult and children’s choirs, music and instrumental music. We invite prayers for wisdom as we are presently discerning future direction in pastoral staffing.
