‘Energy Matters’ Event ERM User Guide This is a simple step by step user guide to the Schneider Electric ERM system, used to download your building’s energy data. The system at first glance look very complicated but we will only be using a small section and after a few run throughs you will easily pick it up. The first step is to: 1. Get a Login Contact [email protected] (sustainable behaviour assistant) and/or [email protected] . They will contact Schneider and get authorisation for the buildings you require. Please provide him with a list of all the buildings you require data for when contacting him. Look out for an email from Schneider electric, giving you your login details. If you have not received it after 10 days, check your junk mail. 2. Login a. When you have your login go to: http://smart.tac.com/ERM/Account/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/ER M/ 3. Click on ‘Reports’ in the top left and then ‘Consumption’ on the drop down menu 4. Click name of building that you wish to gather data from 5. Add the dates you wish to analyse

‘Energy Matters’ Event ERM User GuideThis is a simple step by step user guide to the Schneider Electric ERM system, used to download your building’s energy data. The system at first glance look very complicated but we will only be using a small section and after a few run throughs you will easily pick it up.

The first step is to: 1. Get a Login

Contact [email protected] (sustainable behaviour assistant) and/or [email protected]. They will contact Schneider and get authorisation for the buildings you require. Please provide him with a list of all the buildings you require data for when contacting him. Look out for an email from Schneider electric, giving you your login details. If you have not received it after 10 days, check your junk mail.

2. Logina. When you have your login go to:

http://smart.tac.com/ERM/Account/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/ERM/

3. Click on ‘Reports’ in the top left and then ‘Consumption’ on the drop down menu

4. Click name of building that you wish to gather data from5. Add the dates you wish to analyse 6. Select ‘Utility Type’ of Electricity if it is not already selected7. Select a ‘Meter Type’. Try both ‘Utility and Sub Meter’ and choose the one

that produces the largest values. This can alter depending on the building and the meter types set up within that building.

8. sChoose ‘Daily’ or ‘Intervals’. The ‘Interval’ setting is data created every 30 mins whereas ‘Daily’ will just be a daily total from 00:00 to 23:59.

9. Next click the ‘Plus sign’ (ringed), this will add that data set you have selected to the graph, minus will remove it. After pressing plus or minus do not press anything whilst loading as the page may crash

10.Now to download data, this can either be done by using ‘Show Table’ or CSV File button

11.If you are using the table function copy the ‘Total Consumption’ column figures and paste them into the ‘Event Results Spreadsheet’

12.If you are downloading the CSV file, Open file and copy ‘All Tariffs’ column, paste it into the ‘Event Results Spreadsheet’

13.Repeat this process for all the buildings you wish to cover. This will populate the ‘Event Results Spreadsheet’ and give you your event benchmarks and results.
