Founded a web applications start-up company serving fine art galleries, professional artists and arts associations. Products included GalleryDB, ArtistDB, and Ars Longa Design. »Top 20 Web Design Companies in New Mexico, 2002 (NM Business Journal).
Software Architect—designed the entire flow of the product line, including feature sets and functionality. Designed custom password-protected Content Management Systems (CMS).
Technical Writer and Instructional Designer—wrote print and online documentation and guided tutorials for artists and gallery staff on the best practices for using the application.
Graphic Designer—created a unique look to each web site. Used Photoshop extensively.
Web Programmer—programmed in the Lasso Professional middleware language with a FileMaker Pro database backend.
Database Designer—created the specifications, fields, and tables needed for the application.
HTML Coder—used BBEdit (text editor), Adobe GoLive, and Macromedia DreamWeaver to create the HTML web pages. Used Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to vary the look of each site from a basic template.

Worked on the Microsoft SQL Server team (1997 – 2000) to develop instructor-led training for Microsoft SQL Server versions 6.5, 7.0, and 2000. Met with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy. Set learning objectives and outcomes for required proficiency. Wrote and designed the instructor and student materials. Created associated reports and screen shot illustrations.

Scriptwriter for Windows 95: How and Why interactive CD-ROM, Microsoft. This CD was an instructional design project to introduce the new features of Windows 95.
