Blood Drive

• United Blood Services will work with you.

• Easy to do• Gets students involved

that would never of given blood otherwise.

• You can do it three times a year.

Animal Shelter

• If you do not know where the closest one is in your area, search for one on Local.com.

• Always need volunteers• Walk/Play• Feed• Foster• Adopt

Town Cleanups

• Trash is everywhere, making this really easy to do.

• Talk to your Town Hall or Chamber of Commerce.

• After any public event, trash cleanups are generally needed.

Awareness• Cancer

• Drug/Alcohol

• Unsafe Driving

• Weather

• Anything you feel your school needs to know more about.

Volunteer at athletic events: CC & Oak Grove Field Day• Stu Co volunteers serve

as a course monitors at the cross country meets.

• We also help with the Field Day events at the local elementary school.

• Tug of war

Local School Activities

• Helped with the Fall Carnival at Colonial Heights

• Provided tutors for the afterschool programs at the elementary

• Talent Show

• Made Santa and Elf visits

• Assisted with Open House

• Cub Camp• You can also team up

with other organizations.

Community Events

• StuCo Members volunteered at the local Terry County Heritage Museum when Texas’ Last Frontier Heritage Tour on Sept. 26, 2009. We served as guides in the museum and at the Terry County Post Office Mural.

• Coats• Hats/gloves• Blankets• School supplies• Shoes

Harvest Festival

• StuCo members march in the parade

• StuCo members help in booths

• StuCo help with the cleanup at the end of the day
