AISD Police AcademyAISD Police Academy: A capstone course promoting the Arlington Police Department’s Vision, Values and Goals to students working to pursue a career in law enforcement through practical application.
Hometown Recruiting ProgramThe AISD Police Academy was created in 2014. In 2015, AISD teamed with the Arlington Police Department to staff an APD officer to coordinate/instruct at the academy. This joint effort gives students access to the most up to date training and equipment in the industry today.

Growth Increases:Since 2015, Hometown recruiting program has seen a 300% increase in applicants and a 200% increase in actual class growth. 0

Partnerships Inside HRPHRP is made up of APD, AISD and UTA. We have worked hard to grow partnerships with each of these stake holders and continue to pursue students applying to the UTA CJUS department.
