why we hope to do this project

• At the begining, we select the topic of "low carbon and our lives",but about homework, we have too much complaint:– We have frequent exams. There are 4 times for t

he formal exam in a term, and the informal exams are much more, even 2 times for a week. Actually the endless exams are almost the biggest complaint to us.

• So, we change our topic to "homework"

• We are so sorry to change our topic from “low carbon and our lives” to “homework”, but we are still very thankful to the students’ work from jincai high school in this topic. We have posted your work to our school window in the School Science Exhibition.

About our homework:

• Averagely, we spend almost 3 hours in doing homework everyday. It’s really a disaster to us.

• Our ordinary homework include copying, reciting, exercises.

• We must prepare for a new lesson, review a learned lesson and amending the errors.

• Chinese and English are the two lessons which give us the most homework.

exams cause heavy work and enormous pressure

• Most of us don’t like exams, because thre are too much homework before a test, it caused enormous pressure o us.

• Some students like it, because it can make them know what learning status they are in.

We hope:• we spend about 1 hour in homework everyday;

• we like these kinds of homewok:– investigation or report;– reading;– seaching for information in internet;– finish a work collaborately

homework from our cooperative partner

• In this period, we received a report from cooperate partner in Romania, they told us many things about their homework. ( This is the first time to get a real information from other country, we are so excited.)We know that they also have much homework and exams. Their high-school entrance exam is similar to ours except we have more subjects to take exam in it.

you can't be a real student without them

• Maybe it is exactly like what saying from our Romania partner,“HOMEWORK CAN BE DIFFICULT, BORING , INTERESTING, CHALLENGING , A NIGHTMARE BUT …YOU CAN’T BE A REAL STUDENT WITHOUT THEM ”.

we should be more patient:

• Yes, now we know, homework must be a indivisible part of a student. Maybe from now on, we need to be more patient to homework.
