    ButitwasnotjustHomeworld'saestheticsthatgaineditsuchpraise.Thegame'sstorylinewas(andstillis)oneofthebestever.I'mnotgunnatellithere-becauseifyou'rearealHomeworldfanatic,you'llalreadyknowit-andbesides,it'sinthemanualthatcamewiththegame.(You*did*buyitfromareputablesource,hmmm?)

    AssoonastheenemyFrigatesstartmovingtowardsthedecoySalvager,turnitaroundandsenditbacktowardsyoursalvagegroup;plotitscoursesothatitwillpassoveryoursalvagegroup,andstopabout50kmbehindit.Asthedecoyflees,setittoNeutraltacticssothatitalwaysremainsinsightofthe

    pursuingAssaultFrigates.Ifitseemstobegettingtoofaraway,stopittolettheenemyshipscatchup-it's*vitally*importantthattheykeepthedecoyintheirsights.

    yourHeavyCorvettes,thensendthemonaheadtomeettheenemies.Whenyougetthereyou'llfindanother4AssaultFrigates,guardedbyanewshiptype-theDefender-whichyoucannowresearch.UseyourHeavyCorvettestokilloffthepunyDefenders,thenretreatyourHeaviesbacktotheMothership.Repeatthedecoy-flee-capturetrickonthenow-undefendedAssaultFrigates,andgrabthemall.

    Withthenewarrivalsaddedtoyourfleet,take6Salvagers(aidedbyallyourSupportFrigates)andyourScouts(onEvasive)towardsthereddotatthebottomofthemap;again,stopthegroup50kmaway.MovetheScoutsinandattacktheIonCannonFrigatesthere;whentheybegin(trying)toretaliate,bringinyourSalvagers.
