Travel and Tourist information

Amsterdam has a good and dense public transportation system of metros, trams and busses.

A ticket (chip card) can be bought at the stations, service counters in supermarkets, tobacco shops and

possibly also at the reception of your hotel.

Two options here: the anonymous chip card (OV-chipkaart) and the tourist (multi-)day card.

The anonymous card has a one-time cost of € 7.50 and can be loaded with budget to travel.

A five day multi-day card costs € 27.50.

For comparison: the trip Honeywell (metro stop Bullewijk)-Amsterdam Central Station costs € 2.27.

If you like to go downtown in the evening, the multi-day card is the better option.
