We rejoice that Neta Ward has placed membership with us. We rejoice that Keli, Tory, Ana, Tenzie and Ella Boucher have placed membership with us.

Netherwood News… In the month of December the pan-try provided 31 sack lunches for the homeless, and 49 food boxes/bags for families with cooking facili-ties.

Netherwood is seeking to fill the vacant Youth and Family Minister position. Please recommend to any-

one who might be interested to send their resume to Chase Moss at: [email protected]. Infor-mation on the position can also be found on the church website.

Children’s Worship today for children 2 years old through Kindergarten.

Women of Truth Bible study is Tuesday, January 17th at 5:30PM in the Fellowship Hall. Ladies Bible Class is Thursday, January 19th. All ladies are invit-ed to attend. Babysitting is provid-ed. The Singles Potluck is Sunday, January 15th after 2nd service. If you have any questions see Nancy Clements. The Church office will be closed on January 16th for Martin Luther King Jr Day.

Financial Peace University will begin on January 19th at 6:30. The Senior Potluck is Friday, January 20th at 11:30AM in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a friend and come for some great Fellow-ship! For those interested in helping with the Impact Houston Mis-sion Trip in June, there will be an informational meeting on Sunday, January 22nd after 2nd service in the East Fellow-ship Hall. If you have questions contact Kyle or Kathy Whitten-berg. Singles Game Day is Friday, January 28th at 3:00PM at the home of Nancy Clements. Bring snacks.

There will be a table shower in honor of Si-las and Shayla Moss. A table will be set up in

the foyer on Sunday, January 22nd and Sunday, January 29th. We will be honoring our Ba-bies born in 2016 with a com-bined service on Sunday, Janu-ary 29th at 11:00AM. Followed by a Traditional Potluck in the Gym. There will be no Men’s Break-fast on Saturday, February 4th due to the Couples Retreat.

the Vo-tech Building at the ACCH campus. The cost is $5.00 per adult, children 6-12 $3.00 and un-der 6 is free.

The Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home is seeking a Development Director.

You will work with the Director and Board of Directors to formulate and implement a comprehensive development program to maintain and expand all sources of funding to meet ACCH’s annual budget. Specific projects may include an-nual fundraising events, board de-velopment, planned giving, major gift solicitation and foundation / corporate grants, and our newslet-ter publications. The Sermon on the Mount-Matthew 5-7- taught by Aaron Cordova and Curtis Burnett - Upstairs in the Young Single Adult Class (Ages 18 to Twenty-something) The Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5-7. The Sermon on the Mount is not just good advice to follow. It is the Good News of how life in the King-dom can really be. It is not a list of rules and laws to be followed, but a rule of life to be lived. This class will be discussing what it looks like to really live out the teachings of Jesus from the greatest sermon ever preached.

Sympathy… LuAnn Marpel passed after a battle with ALS. Her memori-al service was here at Nether-wood on Saturday, January 14th. Pray for the family dur-ing this difficult time. Prayers… Bill Bedwell is at Presbyteri-an downtown with a UTI. Kay Alexander is scheduled to have an MRI. Bea Rogers is in Presbyteri-an downtown. Laurel Wilkerson is sched-uled to have surgery on Janu-ary 19th. Patty Martin is scheduled to have surgery on January 30th. Mary Stanphill would like prayers for her daughter, Sandra McLeod, who is deal-ing with a very serious heart condition. Dale Sims would like prayers for his uncle, Charles Sims, who fell and broke his wrist. Presley Dees is recovering from sinus surgery. Jaime Valenzuela is ill. Emily McNicol is dealing with medical issues and is sched-uled to have surgery.
