La expresion utilizada en ingles para preguntar la hora en ingles es:

What time is it? O tambien what´s the time? (se usa menos)

Tambien se puede decir:

Have you got the time?Could you teel me the time please?Would you mind telling me the time?Have you got the time on you?You woulnst know the time, would you?Do you know the time?

Podemos usar un lenguaje formal por medio del escrito A.M y P.MEjemplo: museum is open from 13:00A.m to 22:00 P.m

De manera informal podriamos decir:

7:00 A.m seven oçclock in the morning4:15 P.m quarter past four in the afternoon8:30 P.m half past eight in the evening 11:00 P.m eleven o´clock at night

O´clock es una contraccion que significa “ of the Clock” ( del reloj). En español esto quiere decir “en punto”

Si la hora indicada toma lugar en la parte derecha del reloj usamos la palabra PAST , ejemplo:

Si son las 1:05 DECIMOS : it´s five past one.Si son las 6:25 DECIMOS: it´s twenty five past six.

Si la hora indicada toma lugar en la parte izquierda del reloj usamos la palabra To , ejemplo:

Si son las 2:55 DECIMOS : it´s fifty five to three.Si son las 6:35 DECIMOS: it´s thirty five to seven.
