Horiba PG-250Portable Multi-Gas AnalyserThe Horiba PG-250 is a highly reliable and versatile gas analyser for compliance testing of NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, and O2.

MCERTS approved portable stack testingUnlike other portable gas analysers that rely upon electrochemical

sensors, the Horiba PG-250 utilises the same measurement principles as a

permanently installed CEMS. The PG-250 is ideal for CEMS certification

testing or for use when stack gas emissions must be monitored

periodically at one or multiple stacks.

Direct readings on-site The instrument can interface directly with a laptop computer through

an RS-232C interface to record measured values.

Sample conditioning The Horiba features a built-in sample conditioning system with

sample pump, filters, and a thermoelectric cooler. An optional auxiliary

thermoelectric pre-cooler (PS-200) is available to condition samples

which contain excess water vapour

KEYBENEFITS• Compact and lightweight housing

with a built in carrying case so it is

ideal for moving between stacks

• Large, easy to read front panel

displays

• A single portable analyser capable

of measuring five components

The ultimate portable MCERTS analyser that can monitor up to 5 separate components

BUHLERCOOLER

PRODUCT OVERVIEW Accurate measurements of gases require gas samples with stable dew points even under harsh ambient conditions

The Buhler Cooler is available for hire through a1-cbiss, it is

typically used in application with Horiba PG-250. The EGK

models from Buhler provide a compressor-type cooling

system connected to a cooling block. The temperature of

the cooling block is regulated by the Buhler Constant

Regulating System.

The cooling block accommodates either a single stream or a

dual stream heat exchanger hence the cooler may serve two

separate sample gas streams

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION • Cooling Capacity: 320kj/h

• Ambient Temperature: +5...+50 oC

• Dewpoint: approx. 5 oC

• Power Consumption: 290/260 VA Fuse (external) 10 A

• Alarm output: max. 250V, 2 A, 50 VA plug acc. to DIN

43650

• Protection Class: IP 20
