2) Burley Manor Riding Stables:

Situated in the quaint village of Burley, Nr Ringwood this riding stable offers

beginners the chance to get saddled up and out on the horse. They offer 1 and 2

hour rides that take you through the New Forest, taking in some amazing sights.

If you are looking for something different, why not try a pint and a pub? During the

summer months Burley Manor Riding Stables run pub rides, stopping at a couple

of county pubs while the horses are tied up outside and you can enjoy the

surroundings, or beer, whichever takes your fancy. I know which I would choose.

You should choose a school that is suitable for your requirements and skill level

and a simple call to the center staff can easily ascertain this. All riding schools

have to hold a Local Authority License, and this should be your first question to

check. If you choose a BHS (British Horse Society) Approved School, you can be

guaranteed that the center holds the necessary license and also maintains horse

care, safety and training practices for all horse riding lessons.
