Chocolate BrowniesPrep Time - 20mins + 2 hrs refrigeration

Total Cooking Time: 50 minsMakes 24 Portions

1/3 cup (40g) plain flour

1/2 cup (60g) cocoa pow-

der 2 cups (500g) sugar

250g (8oz) good quality

dark chocolate, choppedinto small pieces

1. Preheat oven to moderate 180 C (gas 4) Lightly grease a 20x 30cm (8 x 12) cake tin & line with baking paper, leavingthe paper hanging over on the two long sides

2. Sift flour & cocoa into a bowl & add sugar, nuts & chocolate.Mix tog & make a well in the centre

3. Pour butter into the dry ingredients w the vanilla & eggs &mix well. Pour into the tin, smooth the surface & bake for50mins (the mixture will still be a bit soft on the outside)

4. Chill for at least 2 hrs before lifting our, using the paper as
