FOR HOT BOXES SHIPPED BEFORE JUNE 21ST, 2018
Step 1:Check the hot box to ensure it is clean of any debris, andthat the thermostat probe is not damaged.
Step 2:Fill the box with 3.8 to 4 gallons of water.
Step 3:Plug the box into a 110V outlet. When the unit turns on, itwill display the current water temperature.

Step 4:To enter the programming menu, press and hold the buttonlabeled ‘SET’.
Step 5:The first option is to select degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius.Press the up and down buttons to select either F or C.Press ‘SET’ to save the setting and move to the next step.
Step 6:Press the up or down buttons to select the temperatureyou want the water to be. Press ‘SET’ when you are onthe desired temperature. See the Temperature vs NitrousPressure chart at the back of these instructions for moreinformation.
Step 7:The option labeled DIF is to set the acceptable variancefrom the set temperature. Setting this option to ‘1’ willkeep the water within 1 degree of the set temperature.Use the up and down buttons to select the desired variance, and press ‘SET’ to save the setting.

Step 8:The last option is to set the mode of the thermostat. Thisneeds to be set to ‘H1’ for heat mode. Press the ‘SET’button to save the setting and return to the home screen. After all programming options have been set, the heater will turn on.
Step 9:To lock the settings on the thermostat, remove the face ofthe thermostat and flip the switch located on the back of the face.
Step 1:Use a Phillips Screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on theface of the thermostat.
This section will outline general maintenance for your Hot Water Bottle Bath. During maintenance, please ensure that your Hot Water Bottle Bath is unplugged in order to avoid serious injury or death due to electrical shock.
Step 2:Remove the face of the thermostat very carefully to avoid damaging any wires or connections.

Step 3:When the control box is open, the wiring should look exactly like the wiring in this picture. In the event your heater isn’t working properly, ensure that the wires are connectedcorrectly.
Upper right junction - Black wire from heater element and black wire from power cord
Upper middle junction - Red jumper wire to lower right junction
Lower right junction - Red jumper wire from uppermiddle junction and white wire from power cord
Lower middle junction - Red wire from heater
Lower right ground screw - Green wire from power cord
Heater Element Replacement
Step 1:Remove the front cover of the Hot Water Bottle Bath witha Phillips Screwdriver. Then, use a Phillips Screwdriver to disconnect the wires from the heater element.
Step 2:Remove the four 9/16” Bolts and Nuts that securethe element.

Step 3:Remove the element from the Hot Water Bottle Bath.
Step 4:Replace the heater element, and ensure the gasket is inproper position. Before tightening the bolts and nuts, use a thread sealer like Blue Loc-Tite on the full length of the threads to prevent water from leaking out of the bath.
