Il prodotto più antico e tradizionale conserva in sé tutti gli aromi, i profumi ed i sapori di questa terra; autoctono

e DOC per eccellenza, questo vino viene fuori da una filiera che si svolge interamente nel territorio di cultura del-

le viti. La falangina e l’aglianico del Taburno rosso, sono rispettivamente due vitigni di colore bianco e rosso uni-

ci nel loro genere e originari entrambi dalle pendici del monte Taburno, sono portatori storici della nostra cultu-

ra enogastronomica.

quant’altra. L’economia Sanlupese è da sempre legata alla coltivazione dell’oliva ed ancora oggi San Lupo è tra i

primi paesi sanniti produttori d’olio extravergine d’oliva. San Marco dei cavoti è conosciuto come il “paese del

torrone” vista

la crescente produzione del croccantino, ovvero gustose barre di croccante composte da mandorle, nocciole e

zucchero ricoperte di cioccolato fondente, ed è famoso anche per le sue cassatine dal colore verde.

Benevento è considerata una vera culla d’ arte che grazie al suo importante patrimonio ricco di monumenti e altri

segni culturali è in grado di raccontarci i popoli che hanno vissuto questo territorio, dagli antichi sanniti ai noi.

La leggenda vuole che il fondatore di Benevento sia stato l’eroe greco Diomede il quale scappato dalla guerra di

Troia, trovò rifugio in questo territorio. La storia sembra confermare la leggenda in quanto Benevento ad oggi

rappresenta una delle città più antiche di tutta Italia luogo di tante battaglie importanti nella storia, prime fra tut-

te quelle tra l’impero romano e il popolo sannita, passate alla storia come le tre guerre sannitiche.

Benevento today is considered by historical studies the most important town of samnium territory. a container of

art because its heritage is rich in monuments and other cultural signs that tell us about the people who lived this

land, Sunnis from the ancient to us. Legend Benevento was founded by the greek Diomede. He escaped from the

Trojan War and took refuge in this area. The history and legend Benevento today is one of the oldest cities in I-

taly. Benevento has been the site of many important historical battles as the Samnite wars fought by the Roman

and Samnium Empires.

Il nostro territorio rappresenta un vero e proprio museo a cielo aperto all’interno del quale possiamo trovare dei

reperti storici testimoni di ogni periodo storico e preistorico. Uno dei luoghi ove poter vedere e toccare con mano

i segni di un’era preistorica è Pietraroja, un piccolo paese famoso per il suo parco paleontologico, metà di appas-

sionati e studiosi, ma soprattutto per il ritrovamento del fossile “Ciro”. Il parco ammette al suo interno il museo

di geologia e paleontologia Paleolab dentro il quale è possibile prendere visione di filmati in 3D che permettono

al visitatore di fare un salto nella storia di circa 110 milioni di anni.

riods. One of the places where you can see and touch these signs is Pietraroja, a small town famous for its paleon-

tological park. The park is now an important destination for scholars and enthusiasts. It is very important thanks

to the discovery of the fossil dubbed as "Ciro". Into the museum of geology and paleontology Paleolab you can

view movies in 3D, allowing the visitor to make a leap in the history of about 110 million years.

Il Territorio sannita è un territorio ricco anche dal punto di vista

religioso in cui la fede cattolico cristiana ha sempre rivestito un ruo-

lo centrale nelle tradizioni popolari. Testimoni di ciò sono i tanti

luoghi di culto di cui il nostro territorio è caratterizzato, santuari

che ogni anno raccolgono milioni di fedeli giunti con l’intento di ve-

nerare la Madonna. Padre Pio rappresenta sicuramente l’icona reli-

giosa più importante per la presenza del paese che gli ha regalato i

natali: Pietrelcina.

Questo paese oggi è la meta di pellegrinaggio più importante per i

fedeli cattolici e non, che si raccolgono attorno al culto e il mistero

del frate cappuccino più venerato al mondo, Padre Pio.

Today padre pio is the most famous religious icon of the world for

his religious importance and his mystery. He is born in Pietrelcina, a

famous country that is situated at a few km from our hotel.

Il presepe vivente di Pietrelcina è una manifestazione giunta ormai alla sua 23° edizione e consolidata ormai nel

tempo. La rievocazione della natività originale infonde il clima natalizio ed emozioni vere e autentiche legate alla

nascita di Gesù. La cura dei costumi, della scenografia, ma ancor più la passione che i partecipanti porteranno lo

spettatore in un viaggio attraverso la storia e i luoghi della Terra Santa.

Il massiccio Taburno-Camposauro fa parte dell’appennino Campano.

Sito ad Ovest di Benevento, nella cui provincia ricade interamente, cul-

mina nel Monte Taburno (1394 s.l.m.) Camposauro (1388 s.l.m.) e Pan-

tine (1170 s.l.m.). Il loro profilo ricorda quello di una donna sdraiata da

cui l’appellativo: “Dormiente del Sannio”.

E’ interessante visitare il Parco in ogni periodo dell’anno, anche se i

mesi migliori sono i primaverili e gli autunnali. Poco distante troviamo

un altro parco, unico nel suo genere per flora e fauna, che prende il no-

me dal fiume Titerno. In questo Parco avrete la possibilità di immerger-

vi nella natura grazie alle molteplici attività sportivo-naturalistiche.

Abbandona la giungla cittadina, sgombra la mente da ogni pensie-

ro guarda al tuo habitat naturale, scopri i tuoi istinti primordiali e

la tua natura selvaggia.

Taburno-Camposauro a solid part of the Campania Appennines.

Situated on the west of Benevento, at 1394 in Mount Taburno, Camposauro at 1388m an Pentine at 1770m. Very

intersting the park during all the time of the year, even if the better time is during the spring and autumn.

For his form this mountain has been nominated by locals as sleeping of Sannio. In fact his form looks a woman

that sleeps.

A few km from here there is the Titerno creek that gives the name to a natural riserve. It is one of the best parks of

Campania and in it is easy to look a more species of animals and plants.

You can choose one of the many sport activities.

Chi ha deciso di chiamare questa località sciistica “Bocca della Selva” deve sicuramente essere stato rapito dalla

bellezza ma al tempo stesso dall’inquietudine di questo squarcio che risale il monte facendosi largo tra i faggi.

Questa località anche se di modeste dimensioni, offre tanto divertimento per gli sportivi che amano lo sci e lo

snowboard grazie a due discese e un parco dedicato esclusivamente agli appassionati della tavola. Il porc park,

questo è il bizzarro nome del parco, è gestito dall’associazione Freestyle Matese ed è composto da: rail-box 6 m,

rail doppio tubo 4m discesa, kink box, wall ride.

Bocca della Selva is a little ski resort. It consists of two runs that can be practiced by novice and experienced

skiers. More for snowboardes there is a pork park that is a place where you may get better the technique. The park

is managed by the boys and girls of Freestyle Matese Association.
