Section C: Non-Narrative Comprehension (25 marks) Candidates respond to a variety of questions based on Text 3, a non-narrative text, and write an 80-word response to a summary writing task. Paper 3: Listening (About 45 minutes) Section A (24 marks) Candidates respond to a variety of listening tasks based on a number of audio recordings, which the candidates will hear twice. Section B (6 marks) Candidates listen to an audio recording and do a simple note-taking exercise. Candidates will hear the recording only once. This component will be conducted in Term 4 Week 3. Paper 4: Oral Communication (About 20 minutes including 10 minutes of preparation time) The two parts in this paper are thematically linked. Section A: Reading Aloud (10 marks) Candidates read aloud a short text. Section B: Spoken Interaction (20 marks) Candidates engage in a discussion with the examiners on a topic based on a video stimulus. This component will be conducted in Term 4 Week 1.

Duration for paper : 3 hours (100 Marks) Question paper to be given three weeks prior to the exam date. Students are to choose 1out of the 6 stimuli given. Preparatory Studies Submission of 3-5 A3 size preparatory studies (one sided) To be completed during the 3 week prep time Final Artwork A3 artwork to be done during the 3-hour exam.

Students will prepare 3-5 pages of preparatory studies on A3 size drawing paper.

Students must bring the preparatory studies to the exam for reference and submission.

The art exam will be marked with the exam piece and the preparatory studies together as a whole.
