They all did a great job. Unfortunately due to bad weather we had to hold it in the hall, yet we did get some fishing in! Additionally, I would like to thank Larry Bowden for getting an Elks National Foundation Grant so each child could receive a backpack water bottle for the event. I would like to thank Hugh Meadows, John Draghi, and Bill Gasparini for cooking the “Father’s Day” lunch. Addi- tionally, thanks go out to Tom Harkins and Dave Pou- lin for preparing the potato salad the day before. I would like to thank the Range Committee, hot dogs and hamburgers to the NSSA Skirmish held the weekend of June 24th and 25th. Addition- ally to the Ground Commit- tee for mowing the lawn on such short notice for the event. Recently during the Annual State Convention held earlier in the month of June, we re- ceived first place for member- ship growth. Thank you to all the members who had spon- sored a candidate so we could receive this award! Also, thanks go out to all the mem- bers who attended the award ceremony, along with partici- pating during the convention. On July 22nd, we’ll be run- ning the 4th Annual Steak and Lobster dinner. Tickets are available at the bar, and the prices will be $25 for a steak, or lobster, and $35 for both a steak and lobster. Un- fortunately the committee has decided this year to not have a band, but is interested in seeking the services of a DJ. I would like to thank

Chuck House and all the

volunteers who support-

Stick Bust Attention pistol shooters! The annual stick

bust competition has returned. Each Tues-

day, at 6:00PM.

As in the past we invite you to bring

any hand gun of any caliber and try

your hand at "Picking Off" the sticks. Just learning to shoot,

no problem we have plenty of experienced and responsible

coaches to help you along.

Come out and spend some fun time with like minded shoot-

ing enthusiasts. Hope To See You There!

Steak & Lobster 4th Annual

Dinner - July 22, 2017

Steak and Lobster Dinner* Saturday, July 16, 2015 Pric-es will be: $25 New York Strip, $25 Lobster, or $35 for both! Served with baked potato, corn on the cob and des-sert! Bar will open at the pavilion for 4PM, Dinner served at 5PM. Due to rising costs, the decision has been made not to have live music this year, and the committee is seeking a DJ. *There will be NO dinners sold at the door!

Glastonbury Elks Charity Golf

Tournament

The Elk’s Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Septem-

ber 11, 2017.

As is needed each year, the committee is looking for Hole

Sponsors, and raffle items.

Additionally, the flyer is at the bar, and will be posted to the

website soon. The cost this year is $135, which includes the

cart, round of golf, and a steak dinner back at the Lodge.

Dinner only tickets are available for $25.

Glastonbury Elks Food Festival

The Glastonbury Elks will be holding its first ever “Food

Festival” during the weekend of August 5th and 6th.

There will be some 20+ food trucks, and 30+ vendors, with

free parking and admission. Beer and wine will be available

during the event.

The previously postponed event will be held on August 20th at

the pavilion at 5PM. Tickets are still available at the bar for

only $15 per person. There will be NO tickets sold at the door

on the night of the event.
