BLENDED LEARNINGBLENDED LEARNING
Blended learning means that we use a range of different ways to enable our students to learn, combining sessions on the campus with flexible online learning.
This approach includes:•induction block at the university 15-17 September 2015•face to face teaching on campus at the start of modules•weekly online learning combining individual study materials and interactive online sessions with student groups and tutor•days in at the university for skills development;•work based learning, project and group work throughout.
Plus work experience internship for those new to housing work

ROUTES TO OUR QUALIFICATIONROUTES TO OUR QUALIFICATIONPart-time professional (two year) programme for those currently working in areas such as:•housing management;•support services;•policy, strategy and development;•Students should ideally have a relevant degree but appropriate work experience and vocational qualifications are also taken into account•integrated MSc option
Full-time or part time (one year or two years) programme with internship for those seeking to work in housing:•10 weeks of supported work experience •integrated MSc option•students should have a relevant degree and motivation to train for a professional career in housing•voluntary or activist experience in housing, as well as prior work experience can also taken into account for admissions

Many Employers:• sponsor staff to undertake the programme • support staff with study time and resources• host work experience internships
