Katherine Rudisill, Ph. D. presented A Correlation to Texas History, an exposof the growth of the Spanish culture focusing on dance, literature, religion and

Carmen Amaya and Sabicas... Already a Century? Veteran flamenco guitarist Julio delos Reyes presented an insight to two of flamenco's most impacting figures, the
legendary dancer Carmen Amaya and the great Sabicas, master of the flamenco andSpanish guitar. Audiences enjoyed an extraordinary opportunity to hear anecdotes from
a fellow artist and friend of Carmen and Sabicas.
