The planetary energies of 2013 can be divided into three main phases:
January to May invited us to expand forwards with direct action.May to August brings an increase in planetary intensity. This is an ideal time to release and transform on all levels.September to December is an opportune time to re-structure.
The key underlying theme in the sky from 2012 – 2015 is the on-going square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn.

In addition, over the Summer months of 2013, we are experiencing several Grand
Trines in Water which introduce a powerful emotional, imaginative and spiritual
dimension to the current changes on a collective and individual basis
A Grand Trine formation occurs when 3 or more planets are 120’ from each other in the sky , thereby forming an equilateral triangle. This
configuration allows energy to flow freely and easily between the planets involved. In sacred
geometry the number three has many spiritual/esoteric associations.

July 26th - 31st : Mars opposite Pluto & Square Uranus – it is important to keep calm during this time. Mars will activate these larger configurations demanding action and change. Be careful to act rather than react. Notice where you are feeling frustrated, keep grounded and centered in your body and in your higher self. Avoid conflict.
Aug 6th – Jupiter opposite Pluto – Jupiter will expand these configurations. This is a good time to evaluate and release the structures in your life which have no further meaning. Focus on joy rather than conflict. Expand and let go. Aug 20th – Jupiter square Uranus - as above
Aug 23rd – Venus square Pluto – this is a good time to evaluate what we need to change in our lives to remain aligned with our core values.
September 9th /10th – Mars quincunx Pluto – this will entail a revisiting of some of the changes that will have taken place internally and externally at the end of July
(Note - these dates may vary slightly depending on time zones. Also - the energies will be active at least 4/5 days before and after)

With a majority of planets in Water Signs and few in Earth throughout the summer, it is important to remember to ground ourselves in our body and on this planet so that we don’t feel swamped by the expansive waves of feelings within ourselves and in the
collective.
