• Candles are made of wax. They were first made in the XIII century. They were made in Egipt by the Egipcians. Wax is used to make them. In the process of making candles petrol is used and it pollutes.

• CDs are made of plastic. They were first made in 1979. They were made in Japan by the Sony company. Mercury is used to make them. In the process of making CDs mercury is used and it pollutes.
