How did you use media technologies in the construction,

research, planning, and evaluation stage?

While planning and research I used lots of different technologies such as

Research • To research for horror genre, I got most of my help from the internet

and websites such as YouTube. I did this on the iMac and windows pc Google was another useful search engine that I used while undergoing my research, I used google to search to watch trailers, I also searches for existing posters and magazine for inspiration.

Editing • Final cut pro-Final Cut Pro has developed a large and expanding user

base, mainly video hobbyists and independent filmmakers. It had also made inroads with film and television editors. Therefore, it was reliable when it was used to edit out trailer as there was a lot od tutorials on YouTube• Photoshop – we used photoshop to edit our magazines and poster.

Construction stages

we used digital cameras to film the footage. We decided to use my own lumix bridge camera due to the fact it had HD video recording and would be able to produce good quality footage. I was also familiar with the way it works and therefore did not need to learn how to use it – this s saves time. However, I also used a canon 600d because I wanted to be able to use a viewfinder.
