Extension Activities

Extension Activities
GAME: “Factors For It”Use playing cards with the Kings, Queens, and Jacks removed. Two players play at a time. Scratch paper or white boards and pens are needed. Aces =1
Directions: 1. Place the cards in a single stack in the center. 2. Flip two cards over.3. The players multiply the two factors (cards) together to get
the product of the two cards. (2 & a 5= 2x5=10)4. Then the players use their paper or white boards to list ALL
of the factor pairs that make up that product.5. Winner must have all the factors written down. Winner
keeps both cards, a ‘draw’ leaves the cards, the winner of the next turn gets these cards as well.
