Decimals Decimals are a part of a whole number. Money is a good way to explain decimals because
it has dollars and cents. Lets say Billy had $2.50 and he spent $2 he would
have 50 cents or 0.2 left. If you needed $10 and you had $9 he would have
0.9 of what he needed. A good way to explain decimals is that they are
part of a whole number. 0.9 is nearly 1 but its not. and 36.9 is nearly 37 but
its not quite.
Let's do some counting... How many minions are here?
