Too Loud?25% of all hearing loss cases can be attributed to noise-induced hearing loss, whether that is caused by a one-time occurrence, or by repeated exposure over an extended period of time.

A normal conversationoccurs at 60 dB.

If a sound reaches 85 dB or stronger,it can cause permanent hearing damage.

If a sound reaches 120-190 dB, it cancause immediate hearing damage.

85 - 90 dBMotorcycle or Subway train (25 feet away)

110-140 dBRock concerts

70-80 dBHousehold appliances such as hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, and

washing machine
