This  presenta;on  will  show  you  how  to  put  social  media  icons  on  your  WordPress  Blog    

 

Step  1:  Get  Image    

Download  an  image  of  the  the  social  media  plaCorms  you  want  your  WordPress  blog  to  link  to.    

3.  Resize  image  to  width  65  by  height  65  (Pixels)    4.Press  Ok        

Open  image  in  Photoshop  To  resize  image  to:    1.  Image    2.  Image  Size    

Step  2:  Resize  Image  

5.  Save  image  as  a  PNG  file  6.  Press  Save

When  you  are  Signed  into  your  WordPress  Account  it  should  look  something  like  this  

1.  Click  your  blog  name  in  the  right  hand  corner    2.  Select  it  again    3.  Select  Dashboard  

Step  3:  Upload  Image  to  upload  WordPress

4.  When  on  Dashboard    go  down  to  Media  5.  Select  Media  6.  Select  Add  New  

7.  Select  choose  file  and  upload  your  Social  Media  Icon  8.  Select  upload

Step  4:  Create  a  new  post      

When  Social  Media  Icons  are  uploaded    1.Go  to  the  Pin  Icon  select  it    2.Select  add  new    

2.  Click  on  the  Images  Icons  you  want  to  add  3.  Select  import  into  post      

1.Select  Add  Media    

Step  4:  Add  Social  Media  Icons  

1.  Open  YouTube  Channel  2.  Get  URL  to  YouTube  Channel  3.  Copy  URL      

4.  Click  on  Social  Media  Icon  

5.  Select  Insert  link  

Step  5:  Link  Social  Media  URL  to  Icon  

6.Incert  URL  7.Title    8.Select  to  open  link  in  new  window/tan  9.Click  Update    

10.When  you  have  Linked  your  all  your  social  media  icons  to  your  social  media  icons    11.Change  the  viewing  from  Visual  to  Text      

12.Copy  HTML  coding    

1.Go  Back  out  to  dash  board    2.  Select  Appearance    3.  Widgets      

1.Under  Widgets  select  text    2.  Drag  text  bar  up  to    Primary  Side  Bar    3.  Copy  and  past  HTML  into  text  box    4  Press  Save    

Step  6:  Adding  Icons  to  blog  sidebar    

Your  Icons  should  appear  like  this
