Go to “My Fresno State.” Under “My Menu” click on Student Support .

Click on Advisement

Under “New Drop-In Advisees” enter Student ID

To look up student by SS# or name…

• Click on magnifying glass icon to search for student by

• SS# “National ID”….or

• by entering “last” and “first” names

Under “Make a selection and press change” click on Academic Advising Summary

Under “Session Summary,” click on “Add New Session”

Under “Advisor Session Detail”, check the box next to “Roadmap Discussed?” (Note: Entering the “Academic Plan” in the box underneath is optional.)

Under “Comments” you may want to type a quick summary of what was discussed during the session. After you have completed these steps click the box next to Communication Completed and then click the OK button. This will permanently record your session and lift the mandatory advising hold.
