How to Draw a Horse! For Beginners!
Materials Needed:
Paper
Pencil
Eraser
Tip: Don’t press too hard on your pencil; press lightly so you can erase if
you make mistakes or as we get further along in the drawing.
Draw 1 large egg-like shape
Draw another smaller egg that is slightly layered over by the top egg
Add two ‘horns’ to the top sides of the egg
Add slightly curvy lines that connect the top egg to the bottom egg
Make the end of the bottom egg a little bit more square shaped
Turn your ‘horns’ into proper ears
Add almond shaped eyes that come from the side of the head
Add some detail lines to the face
Add neck lines
Add squiggly nostrils that look a little like an ‘s’ and backwards ‘s’
- Erase the highlighted lines
Fill in the ears and eyes (leave white circle in eyes)
Add eyelashes
Add a mane (hair)
Add any other details you might like or colour!
