How to export your recordings

• using iTunes and your PC or Mac with the USB cable

• exporting your recording to other apps: e.g. cloud services, FileXChange etc.

• sending an email

Exporting using iTunes 1. connect your iPhone/iPad using the USB cable: launch iTunes and select your device

2. select Apps3. select SpeakNotes4. click on the recording

you wish to export5. save to your PC or

Mac your recording.

All recordings (files “.caf”) can be played using a

QuickTime

player either in a PC or Mac.

Quicktime is integrated in every Mac

Exporting to other Apps

1. launch SpeakNotes, select the recording and enter the Play window: press the

export button at the top2. a list of available apps will appear at

the bottom: select one and send your recording to that app. You can also use AirDrop to transmit your recording

You can, for example, send your recording to the cloud using Dropbox, Box, or other cloud services, where the apps are installed in your device. Or you may send your recording to FileXChange for backup or storage.

Sending an email with your recording 1. launch SpeakNotes, select the

recording and enter the Play window: press the

email button2. an email will be shown to be

edited, with the recording inserted as an attachment. Press the send button at the end.

NOTE: in some instances the email may not be presented due to the recording dimension of file or insufficient memory available in the device. Try to close other apps to free memory and retry. Do NOT email recordings bigger than 2/3 Mb: the email attachment becomes too large. Check the recording dimension in main page of SpeakNotes
