How to Guide – My Dashboard This how to guide can be used as a reference for using you My Dashboard within the Singapore Government
Procurement Skills Academy booking website.
You will need to be a member of the Academy website to access the dashboard area (complete this by
submitting registration via the website landing page). The personalised dashboard will be the main area
where members can browse and book skills training courses, apply for an E-Learning annual licence, access E-
Learning modules, download training certificates and create a member group.
General Notes
Fields with asterisks (pink stars) mean they must be completed in order to continue
Through the process you will see ‘What’s this?’ against some of the fields, if you hover your mouse
cursor over these a pop-up will appear explaining what you need to enter in the field
Welcome Tab
Step 1: You will need to access the portal via the link www.cips.org/singapore-gov this will take you to the Procurement Skills Academy landing page (see below).
Step 2: From the Procurement Skills Academy landing page scroll down to the bottom and click in the Membership ID field and enter your membership number
Click in the Password field and enter your password and then click on the Login button.
Step 3: Once logged in at the top you will see a My CIPS link click on this link
Step 4: Your dashboard shows the Welcome tab as default, this will contain general information about your dashboard.

My Profile Tab
This tab allows you manage your profile information. Here you can update your PCF function area and level
which is linked to E-Learning pathways.

My Groups
This tab allows you create, edit and delete groups of people. See how to use group booking options here
(Section B).
Creating a group
Step 1: Click on the New button.
Step 2: Complete Group Details
Click in the Group Name field and
enter a name for your group
Click in the Membership Number
field and enter a valid membership
number
Click in the Given Name field and
enter the given name that matches
the membership number
Click in the Surname field and
enter the surname that matches
the other details
Step 3: Click on the Add button (repeat the
above process until all required members are
added into the group)
Step 4: Click on the Confirm button this will save
the group and your group will be given a code,
you will then be able to use this code to book the
group of members onto training courses and/or
e-learning licences

My Training & Development
You can use this area book either yourself and/or groups of people onto a training course. Once booked /
approved by your Training Coordinator/Billing Contact, you will see a label of attending appear on this tab
against the course.
As and when skills training courses are published they will appear on this tab.
Booking onto a Skills Training Course
Step 1: Inside the My Training & Development tab click on the Book Event button
Section A
If you are just booking yourself onto the event follow these steps else refer to section B.
Step 2: Click on the Add Myself button, this will add you into the Members grid
Step 3: Click in the checkbox next to the
I Accept option
Step 4: Click on the Confirm button
Step 5: You will be taken to the
confirmation page.
Section B
If you are booking a group of people
you will need to follow these steps else
refer to section C. See how to create a
Group.
Step 2: Click in the Group Code field and
enter your group code
Step 3: Click on Apply button
Step 4: Click in the checkbox next to the
I Accept option
Step 5: Click on the Confirm button
Step 6: You will be taken to the
confirmation page.

Section C
If you wish to book a couple of people (not in a group) you will need to follow these steps else refer to
sections A and B.
Step 2: Click in the Attendees field and
enter the number of attendees you wish to
add
Step 3: Click in the Membership Number
field and enter a valid membership number
Step 4: Click in the Given Name field and
enter the given name that matches the
membership number
Step 5: Click in the Surname field and enter
the surname that matches the other details
Step 6: Click on the Add button (repeat
above steps from 3 to 6 until all attendees
added)
Step 7: Click in the checkbox next to the I
Accept option
Step 8: Click on the Confirm button
Step 9: You will be taken to the
confirmation page.
You will receive an automated confirmation email notifying your provisional booking. An automated email
will also be sent requesting your training coordinator (or billing contact where this field is blank) to verify and
approve the booking online.
The approver must respond within 48 hours or your booking will expire. If this happens, please check that
your details are up to date on your Profile on the website and that automated emails are being referred to the
correct approver. You will be able to re-book the course by following step 1 of this process.

E-Learning
You can use this area register either yourself and/or groups of people onto an e-learning licence. Once
registered and approved by your Training Coordinator/Billing Contact, you will be able to access your e-
learning modules from this tab.
Registering for an e-learning
licence
Step 1: Inside the E-Learning tab click
on the Book button

Accessing e-learning modules
Once your licence has been approved by your nominated training coordinator or billing contact, the module
label will change from Book to Start Learning. Clicking on the Start Learning button this will take you through
to the e-learning platform which is a separate system to the CIPS website.
