INTRODUCTION

Installing the BBB Dynamic seal into your facebook page allows you to broadcast and advertise your

BBB Accreditation and Rating in facebook making it accessible to its users. This is a medium

that can help ABs increase consumer confidence, market presence, credibility and ultimately sales.

DOWNLOADING THE SEAL

STEP 1: Go to the Dynamic Seal Link sent to you from the BBB and add in your Business ID in order to

download the seal. Be sure to read and check the Terms of Use.

Click on to the Next Step to customize the Dynamic Seal for download.

STEP 2:

a. In this page, you are given options on how to customize your BBB Dynamic Seal. Just be sure to set the Advanced Installations section to Iframe / Office Live. Any changes you set in the Orientation, Size, Rating and Color options of your Seal will automatically be reflected in the image in the upper right section as a Preview of your BBB Seal.

b. Once you’ve decided on how you would like your BBB Dynamic Seal to look, click on the Save and Download to show you the code that you’ll be installing later.

STEP 3:

After clicking on the Save and Download button you will be shown the BBB Dynamic Seal code. Click

the link that says “click here for secure [SSL/https] code” . This updates the http:// part of the source

to https://

You are now ready to copy and paste the BBB Dynamic Seal Code to your facebook page.

Meanwhile, there is an image link below the seal code, copy and open this image link in a browser and

save the image on your computer. You can use this in changing the tab image later in facebook.

INSTALLING THE BBB DYNAMIC SEAL CODE

STEP 4: Open a new tab or browser for Facebook. Login to your facebook account and be sure you

already have a page created for your company or a company page.

STEP 5: Open another tab or browser for the custom page tab in facebook. Copy and paste the

following link into the address bar: https://apps.facebook.com/iframehost-rss/ .

Click the Install Page Tab button.

STEP 6:

Add page tab. On this screen, click the dropdown to choose the facebook page where you want to add

the BBB Dynamic Seal.

If your business does not show up in the dropdown list, what you can do is open your business on

another tab and type ‘static iframe tab’ on the search bar and click the matching result.

STEP 7: If this pop up will appear, click Okay.

STEP 8: Welcome Tab

If you are not taken directly into the Tab Settings pane or EDIT TAB CONTENT window, here’s how to

get there. From the main page (or Timeline), locate and click on the More dropdown and select

Welcome.

STEP 9: If you see the Configure Page Tab button, click this.

If not, then it has been configured for you and the Tab Settings pane will appear in 1 page like below.

Go back to the BBB Dynamic Seal program, copy the code and paste it in the HTML Editor.

For the Tab Name, enter Our BBB Rating. This will replace the “Welcome” tab.

After that is the Tab Image, click Change Tab Image and locate the dynamic seal image you have

previously saved. Then click the Save Settings button.

After saving, you may be asked to grant permission to the Woobox Application.

TROUBLESHOOTING

STEP 10: In case an error occurs, click the back button to go back to the Facebook page of your

business.

For example, the Welcome tab does not get updated because of the error.

Another way to manage this is by clicking the Settings link. This will take you to the Admin page of the

woobox application.

STEP 11: If these Woobox popups appear, click Okay.

STEP 12: Edit Tab Content. The dynamic seal code should appear in the PAGE SOURCE section.

If not, copy-paste it again here. Scroll down to click the Save Settings button.

STEP 13: Tab Settings. If the Tab Image is not yet showing, click the Change button and upload the

image you saved from Step 3.

If the Tab name is still showing as “Welcome”, change it to “Our BBB Rating”.

Click the Save Settings button.

After saving, the tab name and tab image on the left sidebar will be updated.

To view the changes in your facebook page, click the View Facebook Tab on the left sidebar.

TESTING

STEP 14: Back to your facebook page, click the Our BBB Rating tab and click the dynamic seal. This

should take you to your business reviews page.
