• Flooring

• Broom/Shop Vacuum

• Tape

• Utility Knife

Step 1: Clean Your Space

• Subfloor should be clean and free of dirt

Step 2: Check Your Space

• Subfloor should be in good condition

Damaged Subfloor? What to do..

• You might need to repair your subfloor if it has these signs:

– Cracks

– Holes

– Protruding objects

– Unevenness

Step 3: Time to Start

• Roll out underlayment with logo side facing down and the green side facing up.

Step 4: Leave Space

• Leave a 1/4” gap from the wall to allow for air circulation

Step 5: Cut and Install

• Cut Underlayment to fit and start installing flooring

Step 6: Unfold Film Unfold overlapping film to prepare for

next row

Step 7: Install Your First Row

Install your first section of laminate over rolled out underlayment

Step 8: Roll On

Roll out next row of underlayment overtop of overlapping film

Step 9: Tape Together

• Tape underlayment rows together if needed

Acclimate your flooring – cross-stack flooring 24 hours before installation

Step 10: Continue with Installation

• Continue by installing laminate section by section according to manufactures instructions
