1. Start by keying in the text you would like to use as the link. Please don’t use the web URL address here. Next highlight the text and click on the Link icon. This will take you to the Link window.

2. Before proceeding to the Link window open another tab in your browser and locate the webpage you wish to link to and copy the URL address.

5. Now in the Advanced Editor the linking text should be blue and underlined. Click the Close to button to return to the Page view.

3. Now in the Link Info tab (should open by default) paste the copied URL into the URL fieldthen click on the Advanced tab.

4. Now in the Advanced tab click in the Advisory Title field and key in a description or a name of the webpage the viewer will see. This is im-portant for AODA compliance and accessibility. Finally click OK to complete the link and return to the Advanced Editor.

6. Now back in the Page view click the Publish button to make the new URL link visible on the LIVE site.

7. Finally test the Alt Text and the link itself by first hovering over the link to reveal the Alt Text then click on the link to ensure that it goes to the correct URL webpage.
