How to log in to LMSLogging in to the LMS requires you to have your La Trobe Credentials (username and password).

How to log in to LMS

Access the LMS pageYou can access the LMS using your La Trobe Credentials (username and password) by accessing the following link: https://lms.latrobe.edu.au Please note that La Trobe uses single sign in and you may be automactically signed in. If you are not automatically signed in please use the following guide to help you log in.

How to log in to LMS – External Users Only

Access the LMS pageYou can access the LMS using your external username and password by accessing the following link: https://lms.latrobe.edu.au

LMS Log in page1. External Users are required to select the Other Users Log in area

and select the dropdown menu.

Other Users log in page (continued)1. Select the institution you are located at.2. Type in your usersname. This will be your

email address you provided to La Trobe.3. Then type in your Password4. Select Log in button.

My LMSOnce you log in you will be taken to your My LMS page.

1. You will see a Navigation panel in the top right.2. You will also see the Subject Overview section.

This will contain links to all of the subjects you are currently enrolled in.

Customise your pageSelect Customise this page to select the number of subjects you want to view on your home page and add or remove Blocks from your page.

What to do if your subject is not on your home pageEnsure you have not hidden subjects. To do this scroll to the search box at the bottom of you’re my Subject Page. Text above the box will indicate if you have hidden subjects.

If a subject to which you require access is not listed, a staff member, susually the subject coorindator, who has access to the subject can grant you the privileges required to log into that subject. This should be done from the Manage My Subjects at https://www.latrobe.edu.au/lms/admin/login.php

If no-one is available to grant you access, submit a request to ASK ICT https://latrobe.service-now.com/latrobe/home_ict.do. Include in the request your name and username, the LMS code and name of the subject and the role required (Lecturer or Tutor).

Organising access for other staff to your subject

Organising access for a La Trobe staff memberIf you have Lecturuer or Manager access to your subject you will be able to add a La Trobe staff member. You can do this via Manage My Subjects at https://www.latrobe.edu.au/lms/admin/login.php

Organising access for an external partyAccess to the LMS and subjects for external parties (those without La Trobe University Active Directory accounts)can be requested via ASK ICT https://latrobe.service-now.com/latrobe/home_ict.do. Include in the request your name email address, the LMS code and name of the subject and the role required (Lecturer or Tutor).
