How toLove LifeAs Much As Surfers Love Surfing
Page 2
Sad fact: most people live life in a fog…
Page 3
They do not treasure every moment.
They do not pay attention.
Page 4
Imagine that you could experience every moment of your life like a surfer does in the water…
Page 5
I am talking about being in The Zone.
Page 6
{Impossible to think about yourcar payments now.}
Page 9
Surfers are always on the verge of failure, but all they care about are the triumphs.
Page 10
Failure hurts, a lot.
Page 11
But joy and failure dwell in exactly the same space…
Page 12
So they return to that space again and again.
Page 13
They have no choice. It is what they love.
Page 15
When they fail, they do not quit.
Page 16
If their board breaks, they buy another.
Page 17
When other people run away from the storm, they run towards it.
Page 18
Now take this attitude and apply it to your life.
Page 19
Try to feel deeply every moment.
Page 20
Do not fear the place where joy and failure dwell. Go for the joy, as many times as it takes.
Page 21
Pay attention to the miracles of life.
Page 22
Give love as readily as you check your smartphone.
Page 23
And when you get a chance to play with your kids, always take it.
