Warming upCheerleaders should always warm up before practicing cheerleading.

StuntsBefore performing a stunt it is always best to practice over mats first.

StuntsStunts should consist of 4 or more cheerleaders.

A minimum of 3 bases and 1 flyer.

StuntsWhen the cheerleaders are ready to start the stunt, the bases should get in loading position. This means bending down.

Stunts

All bases should always have their arms up in the air ready to catch the flyer after dismount.

StuntsWhen executing a stunt, all bases should be very close together (almost underneath the flyer) to support the weight of the flyer on top.

StuntsAlways have a hold of the foot for full support. Never have the foot at an angle. The foot should be parallel to the ground at all times.

StuntsWhen holding the foot in a cheerleading stunt make sure you hand supports the bottom of the foot while your fingers support the sides of the foot.

TumblingAlways stretch properly before attempting tumbling moves.
