Eshopbox provides you a default meta description pattern set for your

site pages

However you can choose to customize your site pages meta

description patterns using available placeholders



Step 1:

Log in to your site admin panel with your login id and password

Click on the ‘Promote’ tab and select ‘SEO suite’ from the drop down

menu

Click on the ‘PAGE INFO’ link on ‘SEO Suite’ page

Select ‘Meta Description’ from the list, under the ‘PAGE INFO’ link

Step 4:

The ‘Patterns’ tab would be selected by default

Auto generated and system defined meta description patterns which are

best suited for search results are used by default

You can however customize them as per your wish using the available

placeholders accordingly

To set the custom pattern for your main site page or your site homepage,

select the ‘Custom pattern’ option against ‘Store Homepage’

Enter the new meta description pattern in the field provided besides it

and click on the ‘Save changes’ button located at the end of the page to

save your changes

To set the custom pattern for all the Category pages on your site select

the ‘Custom pattern’ option against ‘Category Pages’

To set the custom pattern for all the Brand pages on your site select the

‘Custom pattern’ option against ‘Brand Pages’

‘Custom pattern’ option against ‘Product Pages’

To set the custom pattern for all the custom pages on your site select the

‘Custom pattern’ option against ‘My Pages’

To set the custom pattern for all the 404 pages on your site select the

‘Custom pattern’ option against ‘404 Pages’

Make the description qualitative yet easy to read such that it clearly

describes the content of your page

Use your site name and site domain in the meta description

Meta description cannot exceed 300 characters

Use the most important keywords in the meta description
