HOW TO START AN ENTERPRISE

Here's how to become farmers in ten STEPS

I STEP : IDEA

• Having an "idea" around which to develop business development project. Having an idea of agricultural business means identifying what kind of "farmer" is to be or become: farming a more "traditional" (produced in a specific sector) or more "innovative" and "diversified" exploiting, to 10 years ( May 18, 2001/2011) since its introduction, the opportunities offered by the law on agriculture.

• Also, having a business idea involves assessing strategic leveLs which we propose to introduce innovation, direct selling, networking, territory quality, agro-energy, farm, farm school.

2: ANALYSIS

Also, having a business idea involves assessing strategic levers which we propose to introduce innovation, direct selling, networking, territory quality, agro-energy, farm, farm school.

3: COMPARISON

• Also, having a business idea involves assessing strategic levers which we propose to introduce innovation, direct selling, networking, territory quality, agro-energy, farm, farm school.

4: IDEA-------PROJECT

• Transforming '"idea" into an enterprise development project. This is to determine the general objectives of the project, specific, expected results and the actions and resources needed to achieve them. It is to be drawn up by appropriate specialists and professionals in a business plan and financial review accurate and able to withstand the market and the demands of public and private financing.

5: Founding

• Finding the source of funding. On the basis of the project design to assess the possible source of funding under the rural development policies (young settlement, investment, quality, Youth Package). For the purchase of land to verify the possibility of a loan from Ismeanel context of funding the smallholder farmer.

6:PRESENTAZIONE AL PUBBLICO

• Presentation of the project for public financing. It is making the request for access to the financing together with the presentation of the business plan. Required the assistance of a CAA center and consult a professional for the technical part. Today this is the point on which the mechanism gets stuck the boot of a farm. In fact, the procedures for access to the resources of rural development plans (RDP) specifically dedicated to young people require an average of 275 days from the approval of the program and the output of the call; 248 days between the end of the collection of applications and granting decree contribution of the (preliminary), between 18 and 24 months for the delivery of assistance.

7:PRESENTATION TO PRIVATE

• 7. Presentation of the project for private investment. Many banks offer favorable conditions for young people including through agreements with Creditagri Italy, the first national credit consortium, to search for improvements in access to credit conditions and the most suitable financial product. Particular attention should be placed in the granting of guarantees. This is a sample key for "no gamble" physical capital or the newly formed "Save" Dad.

8:FORMATION

• Basic training in agriculture is important but not decisive because there are numerous professional training courses organized at regional level to gain skills and qualify as a farmer from the fiscal point of view. Seeing them is a way to learn but also to weave a web of relationships with other colleagues.

9: PROCEDURES

To start an agricultural business not many steps necessary or the relative costs in terms of bureaucracy. In fact there are three basic steps:- Opening a VAT with the Inland Revenue.- Register of companies, special section on Agriculture, at the competent Chamber of Commerce if you plan to achieve a turnover of more than 7000 euros / year- Application and declaration to INPS.

10: BUROCRACY

• The paperwork is a burden not only in initiating but also in the business management. The agricultural sector is still full of a plethora of daily obligations (stretching an elastic depending on the industry) that removes all agricultural holding 2 days of work per week to be distracted by the activity of business itself 100 days a year.
