Killer app“A killer application (commonly shortened to killer app), in the jargon of technologists, has been used to refer to any computer program that is so necessary or desirable that it proves the core value of some larger technology, such as computer hardware, gaming console, software, or an operating system.

Killer notes“killer notes” in the jargon of Jennie Osborn, has been used to refer to any study skill that is so necessary or desirable that it proves the core value of some larger academic purpose, such as critical thinking, essay writing, referencing, or time management.
Killer notes can substantially increase grades of the student on which it runs.
Aims of the Session
• To increase your understanding of reading and note-taking.
• To develop your ability to make effective notes using different methods.
• To improve your critical reading skills.

The perfect cuppa • Use a good quality loose leaf or bagged tea• This must be stored in an air-tight container at room temperature• Always use freshly drawn boiling water• In order to draw the best flavour out of the tea the water must
contain oxygen, this is reduced if the water is boiled more than once.
• Measure the tea carefully• Use 1 tea bag or 1 rounded teaspoon of loose tea for each cup to
be served• Allow the tea to brew for the recommended time before pouring• Brewing tea from a bag in a mug? Milk in last is best
