Thenremovetheouterkickpanel,beingsuretounfeeditfromthedoortrimbeforepulling

itawaycompletely,hopefullyleavingyouwiththebunchofwiresasbelow:

Youmightneedtoremovesomeofthetiewraps,butthewiresyouneedareinthebig

bundleofwiringbeforeitgoesintotheplasticsurrounds.Acloseupofitisabove.

Youarelookingforthefollowingtwowires:

1. Brownwiththinblackstripinit2. Brownwiththinredstripinit

Note:There

are

two

wires

in

brown

with

athin

red

strip;

you

need

the

thicker

one

of

the

two.Findthembothbeforeassumingyouhavetherightone.Iftotalclosuredoesntwork

whenyoulockthecar,chancesareyouhavethewrongoneconnected!

Soonceyouhavefoundthesetwowires,youneedtotapintothemusingyourlengthof

wire.Youhavetwochoicesforthis:

1. Usingscotchconnectors,jointhelengthofwiretoeachoftheidentifiedwiresaslisted

above

2. Striptheinsulationback,wraptheendsofthelengthofthewireontothebarewiresyouexposed,andthensoldertheminplace(checkitworksbeforeyousolder

itinplace!)andtheninsulatetheexposedwires.

Theresultafterconnectingthemshouldlooksomethinglikeabove.Makesureyouinsulated

anyexposed

wires,

then

test

the

total

closure

works

by

locking

the

car

with

the

remote

controlandthendeadlockingit.Theelectricallyoperatedwindows,andsunroofshouldnow
