• “Route” a packet by changing its location, then send the paper packet to the next level

• When you receive a paper packet, look it up in Advance– If it’s not on your Overview page, maybe it has

not been routed in Advance (maybe it has not been created in Advance)

• Candidates can see the location of their packet

• Routing within Advance will give us information about– Number of packets done each year– Types of packets done each year– Bottlenecks in the review/approval process

• Do not route a packet that has been approved (covered in the Decision & Status module)
