How To Play

Dealer shuffles the deck of cards

He passes out nine cards to each player.

He places the rest of the deck in center of play. He flips open one card.

Player to dealer’s right goes first.

The first player draws a card.He may draw from the deck or

pick the open card.

With cards in hand, first player makes/spells word or words.

Words may be any length.

The WILD card may be substituted for any letter of the alphabet.

When done making words, player must discard one card to end his turn.

Play moves to first player’s right. Second player picks card.

Player may pick from displayed/discarded cards or the deck

Second player spells word or words from his/her hand of cards

Words must be displayed to count toward points

Oneor more words may be displayed.Player must discard one card to end his

turn

The next player may pick from discarded cards or from the deck

If a player picks from discard pile, he mustpick upall the cards from the one he

wants all the way up to the latest discarded card.

Again, player may spell word or words of any length with cards in his hand.

Player must discard one card to end his turn

Again, next player may select from discarded cards or from deck

Play continues until one player uses all his cards to make words and discards one card.

The round ends. Count the points.

SCORING:For every word made/spelled out, points will be added up for scores.

DEDUCTIONSCard(s) in a player’s hand--Not used to spell word--

Points will be deducted for those cards.Card(s)not displayed in front of the player--will not be

added for points. Instead,

Deduct one (1) point for each card

(not used) still in a player’s hand.

SCORING

1 Letter Word = 1 point

2 Letter Word = 1 + 2 = 3 Points

3 Letter word = 1+2+3 = 6 points

4 Letters = 1+2+3+4 = 10 points

5 Letters = 1+2+3+4+5 = 15 points

6 Letters = 1+2+3+4+5+6 = 21 points

7 Letters = 1+2+3+4+5+6+7 = 28 points

8 Letters = 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 = 36 points

9 Letters = 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9 = 45 points

10 Letters = 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 = 55 points

11 Letters = 66 points12 Letters = 78 points13 Letters = 91 points

14 Letters = 105 points15 Letters = 120 points16 Letters = 136 points,

and so on…
