When you give to the Missouri Missions Offering, 10 percent comes back to your association to support missions. Thousand Hills Baptist Association helped fund a disaster-relief shower trailer; sent volunteers to serve at the state fair; provided VBS training for 50 people; and assisted a Missouri Baptist summer missionary. Salt River Baptist Association supported volunteer work under the evangelism tent at the Missouri State Fair and the Pike County Fair. The St. Louis Metro Baptist Association provided leadership seminars for church leaders; sent volunteers to engage unreached people groups; and assessed, coached, and mobilized church planters. Osage River Baptist Association helped cover the cost of background checks for church members engaged in ministry to Korean children. Fellowship Baptist Association took a leadership role in hosting the evangelism tent at the Missouri State Fair, resulting in 1,500 gospel-sharing opportunities. Shoal Creek Baptist Association supported ESL classes for Somali Muslim women and installed a new wall heater for the Hmong Church. Mid-Lakes Baptist Association supported construction projects and disaster relief. Tri-County Baptist Association supported a ministry to Hispanics in Branson, and helped fund Bridge of Faith Community Church’s “Summers and the Beach” ministry for needy children in Rockaway Beach. Mid-Missouri Baptist Association helped sponsor a two-day Experiencing God event. Franklin Baptist Association supported training events; helped fund a missions booth at the Washington Town and Country Fair; and updated computer and video equipment. Cape Girardeau Baptist Association provided scholarships to student leaders to attend a Next Generation training event.
