Western States Contract Alliance
• The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) is an alliance of state purchasing directors from sixteen states. The purpose of creating WSCA was to establish the means by which participating states may join together in cooperative multi-State contracting. This approach helps states to achieve cost-effective and efficient acquisition of quality products and services. Cooperative purchases are developed by member states. All governmental entities within WSCA states as well as authorized governmental entities in non-WSCA states are welcome to use the approved agreements. Cooperative purchasing benefits states as well as cities, counties, public schools and institutions of higher education.
• Established the WSCA Computer Equipment, Peripherals and Related
Services Master Agreement (WSCA B27165) on behalf of all WSCA member states. As a result, all member states are eligible to use this contract by simply executing a state-specific WSCA Participating Addendum with Howard Technology Solutions.

MiCTA MiCTA contract covers Video Integration Services and Stand Alone Product purchases. to become a MiCTA member.

discounts permitted on contract.
•Provide school districts and other governmental entities opportunities for greater efficiency and economy in acquiring goods and services.
•Take advantage of state-of-the-art purchasing procedures to insure the most competitive contracts.
•Provide competitively priced solicitation and bulk purchasing for multiple government entities that yields economic benefits unobtainable by individual entities.
•Provide quick and efficient delivery of goods and services by contracting with "high performance" vendors.
•Equalize purchasing power for smaller entities that are not able to command the best contracts for themselves.
•Maintain credibility and confidence in business procedures by maintaining open competition for purchases and by complying with purchasing laws and ethical business
practices.
•Assist entities in maintaining the essential controls for budget and accounting purposes.
