HaloPure BR’s ultra-low-level residual bromine technology, which thwarts

the growth of bacteria while water is in storage, is more effective than any

HaloPure BR can offset the limitations of other water treatment technologies that

are already in place. For example, HaloPure BR’s untethered technology is not

HOW IT WORKSHaloPure cartridges contain a novel

contact-biocide technology in which

halogen atoms are bonded onto

polystyrene beads. As viable or harmful

microbes pass through the HaloPure

cartridge, they collide with solid-state,

brominated hydantoins and are killed

in a matter of seconds. The engineered

dwell time in a filter or device ensures

that the long-lasting and ultra-low-

leaching halogen in HaloPure BR

continues the killing process inside the

system. Treated water is purified and

disinfected in seconds.
