Recommended technology of the non-stop manufacturing, transportation and placing of RCC illustrated through the Construction of the Gibe-III HEP

Telescopic placing conveyor mounted on tracked chassis, typically used on the surface of RCC dams for final placing of material with "all-conveyor" systems

Gibe III HEP comprises the following features:246 m high RCC gravity dam with crest length of 580 m, RCC volume is 6144000 m3

Termination of the HEP construction -2014

This technology allows in two working shifts to provide RCC placing within the intensity between 12000 to 150000 m3/month
