Handi Quilter Educators
sure to save your seat in the HQ-TNT class! We recommend this class to all new HQ owners so they can better understand and work with their machine. Also be sure to check out the amazing Pro-Stitcher classes that we have available. This program features many great built-in designs that allow the quilter a wide range of quilting possibilities, as well as a way to edit designs through the use of Art N Stitch.
The Handi Quilter Machine family has grown! The Simply Sixteen with the Little Foot Frame is a great machine that allows the versatility of a Long arm with the space requirements of a sit down. This machine is ideal for anyone looking to do their own quilting, free motion and ruler work. The Little Foot Frame is great and allows quilters more room in their sewing areas. It only takes up a small footprint, a 4 ft x 5 ft area. It's ingenious snap frame design allows you to do even a king size quilt with little effort.
If you are looking for a chance to get out of the house this year, be sure to check out the many quilt shows that are going on. Find us in July at the Nebraska State Quilt Guild vendor mall July 29th and 30th. Then in November take a Handi Quilter for a test drive at the 2016 Des Moines Annual Quilt Show “Our Quilted Gardens.” Make sure you visit our very own Scott Flanagan during the “Black, White, and Read All Over!” Quilt Show in October. He will have many of his amazing quilts on display for all to see!
This October marks yet another amazing Long Arm Retreat. Join us for our 9th Annual Long Arm Quilting Retreat featuring Vicki Hoth, The queen of Handi Quilter, this October 14th - 15th. We are really looking forward to all that she has to teach us about using rulers and pantographs, as well as a few new techniques featuring the new Handi Feet. Be sure to keep checking our website for more information about getting signed up for this great retreat. We look forward to seeing you all in the Handi Quilter Classroom Studio!

Meet Vicki Hoth, Education Coordinator and
Handi Quilter Extraordinaire. She has been a
quilter since the early 1970’s. Her extensive
background in garment construction and quilt-
related activities has helped jump start her role as
the Handi Quilter Education Coordinator. Her
teaching strategies with ruler work and
pantographs has helped many new long-arm
quilters understand their machines and help
them to have fun with their projects. She likes to
encourage quilters to jump outside of their box by
stretching their talents and trying new
techniques in their quilts.
Become one with your Handi Quilter and join
us as we experiment with many new
techniques, including ruler work and playing
with ProStitcher. We will also discuss ways of
utilizing the “NEW” Handi Feet. Vicki and the
Country Traditions Team will guide you
through many new designs that you could use
in your next quilting project!
