Domestic and workplace injuries are common ailments faced by everybody. The chances of inju-ries increase when an activity involves young children and this warrants the presence of a trained personal to provide proper response. This course in tailored for parents with young children and those who work closely with children such as baby-sitters, teachers and other childcare givers by emphasising on common issues faced by children in any emergency situations.

This 2-day comprehensive programme includes elements of the Basic Life Support Course (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course which are important skills to acquire. Recent studies in US and Japan have shown that accident victims and emergency patients have a 20% higher chances of survival when provided with first aid care or CPR by a by-stander as compared to those who only received such care upon arrival at the hospital.
