WITT Refrigerant Pumps:WITT Refrigerant pumps are specially des i gned to de l i ve r p r imary refrigerant liquids at the boiling points. For several decades they have demonstrated their capability in industrial refrigeration plants throughout the world, working with a m m o n i a ( N h 3 ) a n d o t h e r refrigerants.
WITT refr igerants pumps are characterized by their proven ability to pump liquid/vapour mixtures. This is of particular importance as the evaporation temperature decreases. Hermetic refrigerant pumps radial impellers of the HRP type are equally able to pump liquid/vapour mixtures as the well known GP pump series with lateral channels.
The pump is driven by a canned motor. The stator housing is designed to withstand the high nominal pressure of the pump, giving unrivalled safety. Extensive in-house experience with previous models of h e r m e t i c p u m p s h a v e b e e n incorporated in the design. W ITT re f r i ge rant pumps a re constantly improved and optimized, using the same dimensions and corrections.
With the available models a large range of applications for industrial refrigeration is possible with a wide range of refrigerants. The 40 bar design is also suitable for Co2 when used as primary or secondary refrigerant. Higher pressure (e.g. 65 and 90 bar) are available for other Co2 executions. The suspended installation of the pump permits an e a s y, c o s t - e f f i c i e n t p i p i n g , arrangement and collection of water condensate.
