Annual Programme Report

Like every year, this year also Savitribai Phule Study Centre was inaugurated on 5th August

2015 by Prof Smt Manisha Jogi. It was inaugurated by Manisha Jogi, Shindkheda. She

introduced Savitribai's work through her lecture. She also gave excellent guidance to the

students on how today's woman should lead her lifestyle. Apart from this, today's generation is

learning how to use mobile and Whatsapp. She said that they should be used at the right time

and for a good cause. On 3rd

Aug.2015, a workshop cum lecture was organized for UG & PG

students on Cooking and baking Skills. Mrs.Rupal Gujarathi was invited as an expert in the field.

Apart from this, on 12 Sept.2015, competitions on Mehendi, Cake Making, and Nail Art were

organized and Mrs.Swati jain was invited as a judge for the competitions. Savitribai Phule

Jayanti was celebrated on 3rd January 2018. On this occasion, essay competitions on various

subjects were held at the college level and prizes and certificates were given to the first, second

and third place winners. On 10th March 2016, on the occasion of Savitribai Phule death

anniversary, a reading class was organized for the students in the college.

Activities: Academic Year 2016-17

Savitribai Phule Adhyayan Mandal was inaugurated by Prof. Mrs. Manisha Jogi. She introduced

Savitribai's work in his inaugural lecture and guided the students in carrying on her legacy. She

enchanted the students with his succulent and witty style, giving many stories and testimonials.

Savitribai Phule Jayanti and Punyatithi (Death Anniversary) were celebrated on 3rd January 2016

and 10 March 2017 respectively . On behalf of the committee, an essay competition was held

among the students at the college level and the first, second and third place winners were awarded

with cash prizes and certificates. Nine students got participated in the competition. A reading class

on biography of Savitribai Phule was organized from 21 to 23 Feb. 2017. Student skills should be

inculcated in the student and knowledge should be gained about Savitribai's lifestyle.

Savitribai Phule Study Centre was inaugurated by Dr.Phula Bagul (SPDM College, Shirpur) on 14

Sept.2018. He introduced Savitribai's work and her life career in his inaugural lecture and guided

the students in carrying on her legacy by following the strong personality. For the programme 120

students and teaching staff were present. On Occasion of Savitribai Phule Jayanti on 3rd January

2019 a guest lecture was organized by Adv.Savita pawar (District Civil Court, Pune) on the topic-

“Today’s Woman and Savitribai Phule”. On behalf of the committee, on 10th

March 2019, an

essay competition was held among the students at the college level and the first, second and third

place winners were awarded with cash prizes and certificates. 12 students got participated in the

competition. A video session was organized on 28 Aug.2018 on Savitribai’s life and career.

Savitribai Phule Study Centre was inaugurated by Mrs.Bhavana Patil (RCP Ashram School,

Nimzari Village)on 8 Aug..2019. She spoke about Savitribai's work and her contribution in

development of women folk in her inaugural lecture and guided the students in carrying on her

legacy by following the strong personality. For the programme 86 students and teaching staff

were present. On Occasion of Savitribai Phule Jayanti on 3rd January 2020 a video session

from Youtube was organized for students. On behalf of the committee, on 02/01/ 2020, an

essay competition was held among the students at the college level and the first, second and

third place winners were awarded with cash prizes and certificates. 13 students got

participated in the competition. A Guest Lecture on Mahatma Phule : Life and career

(University Sponsored) was organized on 17 Feb.2020 of Dr.Shobha Shinde (Former Head &

Co-ordinator, Women’s Study Cell NMU Jalgaon ). On 29 Feb.2020 Mata Melava, (Mother

Parents’ meet) was organized in collaboration with Life Long cell, KBCNMU, Jalgaon.

Detail report of the

programme /activity

The college has one of its best activities, i.e. SavitribaiPhule Study Centre.

The centre organizes several activities for students regularly. For the

academic year 2019-20, the centre has organized inauguration of

SavitribaiPhule Study Centre by arranging a guest lecture of Mrs.

BhavanaPatil (Secondary School Teacher, Ashram School, Nimzari

Village). The programme started with welcoming of the guest speaker and

the Principal of the college. The co-ordinator, Dr.GajananPatil introduced

the programme and the guest speaker. The programme got inaugurated at

the auspicious hands of the dignitaries by worshipping and garlanding the

image of SavitribaiPhule. In her speech the guest speaker made students

aware about the life and struggle of Savitribai by calling her a legend and a

revolutionary figure in the history of India particularly in the initiation and

promotion of women education. Her speech encouraged students and

proved it fruitful to the first generation learners. Prin.Dr.ShardaShitole,

being the president of the programme appealed students to actively

participate in various activities organized by the centre. To attend the





programme, the faculty members -Dr.Rahul Saner, Dr.ShobhaDeore,

Ms.VidyaPatil, Ms.IndiraGirase, Mrs.M.V.Chaudhari were present. The

programme was compeered by Ms.VidyaPatil and the vote of thanks by

Miss.KiranSattesa. The UG and PG students PreranaCharan,

GitanjaliGurav, BhagyashreeSaindane, RenukaKoli, Jagruti, Yogita,

MadhuriWagh assisted in conducting the activity.

समन्वयक डॉ .गजानन पालील यांनी प्रास्ताववक व प्रमुख पाप्रण्यांचा पररचय केला.

काययक्रमाचे प्रमुख अवतथी व ववद्यापीठ व्यवस्थापन पररषदचेे सदस्य प्रा वनतीन बारी यांनी मनोगत व्यक्त

करताना मवहला पालकानंा यांच्या पाांयाच्या िैक्षवणक व सामावजक ववकासासाठी माता पालकांची भूवमका

महत्त्वाची असांयाची आवश्यकता प्रवतपाददत केली . यानंी मवहला बाबत बोलतानंा मवहला या पुिषयांपेक्षा

उदघालन सत्राच्या अध्यक्षीय समारोपात संस्थेचे सवचव प्रभाकरराव चकहाण यांनी महाववद्यालयात

आयोवजत केलेांया माता मेळाव्याच्या आयोजनाचा एक स्तु य उपक्रम असांयाचे नमूद केले . यांनी आपांया

मनोगतात सामावजक जीवनातील उदाहरणे दऊेन आजच्या पररवस्थतीत मवहलानंी तथा युवतानी खंबीर

होण्याची आवश्यकता प्रवतपाददत केली.

पश्रश्री वनलीमा वमश्रा यांनी आपांया अनुभवपर कथनातून उपवस्थत मवहला पालकांना याचं्या कायायची

सुिवात आवण सद्यवस्थतीत हाती घतेलेांया उपक्रमाबद्दल मावहती ददली . यांनी उपवस्थत माता पालकानंा

सामावजक आवण सांस्कृवतक ववकासासोबतच गररबी दरू करण्यासाठी आर्शथक ववकास कसा साधता येईल

यासाठी यांच्या बहादरपूर या गावी बचत गलाच्या माध्यमातून चालणाा या ववववध प्रकारच्या उपक्रमाबाबत

मावहती ददली . यानंी गरीब कुलंुबाना आर्शथक दोृका सक्षम होण्यासाठी कोणतेही काम हाती घेण्याची तयारी

ठेवावी व ते काम पूणय वास नेण्यासाठी प्रयीांची पराकााा करावी असे आवाहन केले . यांनी बचत गलाच्या

माध्यमातून बहादरपूर येथील मवहलांकडून गोधडी तयार करून यांचे जमयनी सारख्या दिेात ववकांया जातील

अिी गुणवत्ता वनमायण केली . यांनी अनेक भाववनक ववषयांना साद घालताना याचं्या गावी वृद्धांसाठी नव्याने

सुरू होणाा या वानप्रस्थाश्रम याची मावहती ददली आवण आपांयाला समाजाला काही दणंे लागतं म्हणून ववववध

सामावजक समस्यांना सोडवण्ुकीसाठी मवहलांनी पुढाकार घेण्याची गरज प्रवतपाददत केली .आपांया अनुभव

कथानातून यानंी आयुोयात समाजसेवेचे वृत्त हाती घेण्यासाठी वयाच्या अवमया तरेाव्या वषकच ल न करता

उभे आयुोय समाजसेवेसाठी आवण सामन्याच्या उठतीसाठी व्यवतत करण्याच े ठरववले आवण याप्रम ्ाणे

आपांया कायायचा प्रभाव सुरू ठेवला.

कु .यावमनी कुलकणक :

काययक्रमाच्या वितीय सत्रात जळगाव येथील पत्रकार कु .यावमनी कुलकणक यांनी उपवस्थत पालकांना

आजच्या जीवनातील व्यावहाररक उदाहरणातनू मुलाचे विक्षण व यांचे ववववध व्यवसायाच्या दनृीने भववोय

घडण्यासाठी माता पालकांनी पुढाकार घेऊन यानंा प्रो साहन दणे्याची आवश्यकता व्यक्त केली . यांनी मवहला

या सोविक असांयाचे सांगत तिण मुलाना आयुोयात येणाा या अनेक अडचणी सोडववण्यासाठी माता पालकानंी

पुढाकार घेण्याची गरज प्रवतपदीत केली . यानंी स्वततच्या आयुष् यात येत गेलेांया अनेक उदाहरणे दऊेन मुलगी

आवण वतच्या बद्दल असलेला सामावजक दवृनकोन बदलण्याची गरज असांयाची अपेक्षा व्यक्त केली.
